The Beggar’s Ball

The original CD album contains 21 dances and is that of The Assembly Ball in 2004 repeated in 2014. As many of the tunes are familiar from ‘The Beggar’s Opera’ it seemed a pity not to record them as a dance collection. The dances comprise several well-known ones, some lesser-known ones but available in C20th books and some unknown since the C18th.

This MP3 album download contains 23 dances including two extra tracks. ‘Bonny Dundee’ and ‘Greensleeves and Yellow Lace’ which are not available on the CD.

The original CD Booklet as a PDF is included when purchasing the whole album.
